Marcia Torres

Hello, my name is Marcia Torres and it’s a great time to be a Lobo at Oak Point Elementary! Oak Point is an outstanding school and I am blessed to serve the students, staff, and parents as the Assistant Principal.

My goal this year is to ensure that each child grows one full academic year in all subject areas. Did you know that parental involvement is associated with higher student achievement outcomes? The results of a meta-analysis on student achievement found that grades, standardized test scores, and scores on summative assessments were higher for students with involved parents.

To stay in the know, please join the Oak Point Elementary on Facebook, utilize Parent Portal and Focus, join the PTA and share your ideas on how to increase parent involvement at Oak Point.

My door is always open and I welcome all questions, comments, suggestions, or concerns you may have. I am here to serve you, your child, and the Little Elm community.

Warmest regards,
Marcia Torres
